Runventure Bull Creek

Details

This is an adventure run. Though the run is short, don't let it fool you. It's along a beautiful, narrow trail along Bull Creek and may include obstacles like jumping from rock-to-rock to avoid stepping in a creek, climbing up small boulders, and running on uneven terrain. It won't be super easy, and we do have to be careful, but it is sure to be TONS of fun! After the run, we can take a dip in the creek to cool off, and possibly have some BBQ at a nearby restaurant!

This run will begin at 7:00PM. Please arrive a few minutes early so we can start on time.

Meeting Location: Meet at the parking lot on Bull Creek Greenbelt trail just off of 360 (see map)

Route: 2.14 miles

Notes on our runs:
• How long are our runs?

Runs are usually between 30 minutes and 1 hour, but you can make it shorter or longer based on your running level.

• How far do we run?

You can run as far as you want, but they are usually between 2.5 and 5 miles. If there are a lot of people and different running levels, we can split up into groups of different distances.

• How fast do we run?

We have members who are fast and slow. This is not a race, you should run at a comfortable pace and enjoy yourself. If you get tired, walk or take a break and enjoy the views. Keep joining us, you will get better.

• What do I need?

You need running shoes and a good spirit. Maybe bring some water for after the run, or some money to buy some.

• What should I wear? Use this site to help you dress for the conditions. http://www.runnersworld.com/what-to-wear

• Will we run if there is bad weather?

We run in the rain. You can choose if you want to run when there is bad weather. If there is weather so bad that it is not safe to run (i.e.: hurricane, lots of lightning) the meetup will be canceled. You can check the meetup before you come
