Friendly Chess in Russell Square

A laid-back lunchtime of friendly chess in the charming surroundings of Russell Square, Bloomsbury. Whether you're new in town and looking to meet new people, craving some social games, or live/work/study nearby, all are welcome.

Chess sets are available to borrow, and there's optional food/drinks from the nearby cafe.

This event will be hosted - you'll see your host sitting at the chess tables next to Caffe Tropea, with chess pieces set out. Just come and say hi. You can drop in any time before 1:30pm (or later, if you let us know you plan to arrive later). The event ends at 2:30pm, but feel free to stay and continue playing.
