Friendly Chess in Russell Square

A laid-back lunchtime of friendly chess in the charming surroundings of Russell Square, Bloomsbury. Whether you're new in town and looking to meet new people, craving some social games, or live/work/study nearby, all are welcome.

Chess sets are available to borrow, and there are optional food/drinks from the cafe next to the chess tables.

This will be a hosted event - if you're the first to arrive, you'll see your host sitting at one of the chess tables with a chess set.

Feel free to write in the event to confirm you're going and encourage others to come along. Most of those attending are from other social media groups.
