Poetry Almanac of California is an annual Russian poetry collection edited by Lina Sominsky. Two organizers of this meetup have been chosen for publication in 2016. The event is run by the Writers' Hangout Organization ("WHO") and may be a good place to learn about other Russian-writing poets of the Bay Area and hear them performing their writings.
Presenters at past events include Rimma Goldman, Martin Melodiyev, Victoria Rochez, Alexander Nemirovsky, Joseph Shapiro, Valentina Gritsayenko et al.
No attendance fee or membership is required.
