Details

The media landscape has undergone significant changes in recent years. The amount of time people devote to traditional media outlets, such as print newspapers and magazines, radio and television, has been steadily declining, making it increasingly difficult to reach consumers through these mediums. Meanwhile, social media channels, such as Facebook, Twitter and YouTube have been growing at breakneck speed, leaving businesses scrambling to understand and effectively tap these emerging marketing channels. At this meeting, Daniel Mochon, Ph.D., our guest speaker, will share tools and frameworks to show how companies implement effective social media marketing campaigns and how to use these emerging technologies to reach and engage customers effectively.

The guest speaker, Daniel Mochon, Ph.D., is currently a postdoc and lecturer at the Rady School of Management at UCSD where he teaches social media marketing and conducts research on consumer behavior and decision making. He has broad research program, grounded in his interest of understanding how human biases inherent to our decision making processes affect the choices we make.

Attendance of this meeting would be very beneficial for those who is interested to grow their business and utilize the social media channels to attract more customers. Space is limited, so please RSVP your seat. You are welcome to invite a guest as long as you RSVP for the guest as well.
