The second iteration of our Monthly Rust Meetup.
This time around we've got two speakers from hailing from Mozilla—Chris Pearce and Jonathan Turner.
- First up will be Chris. Talking about his side projects working with Rust for data mining, trees, concurrency & optimization. Also mentioned will be the implications of the borrow checker and mutability constraints on the structures and algorithms he uses.
- Second will be Jonathan who will be speaking about his experience working on the Rust Language Server (RLS), as well as improving the compiler error messages.
As always, get involved on our Slack group to discuss upcoming meetups, and find slides from past meetups on our Github: https://github.com/rust-akl/meetup
Thanks again to Movio for venue sponsorship.
