## TALKS
### Taking your side projects to the next level
The code is still the easy part; everything around it is where the hours go. When to bring in help and which skills first, sharing the work fairly so everyone gets credit, finding people and projects worth your time, and sizing your next side project.

### What the Tokio Is Going On?
*A practical guide to debugging async Rust*
Async Rust is great until something stops making progress.
Your app is running, nothing has crashed, but tasks aren't finishing,
latency is climbing, or CPU usage is through the roof. Where do you even start?
Tokio Console gives you a live view inside the Tokio runtime,
showing what your tasks are doing, what they're waiting on, and where things are going wrong.
In this practical, demo-driven talk, we'll instrument a Rust application,
explore Tokio Console, and hunt down blocked tasks, excessive polling, and resource contention.
We'll also look at how to turn those insights into real performance improvements.
The code is still the easy part; everything around it is where the hours go. When to bring in help and which skills first, sharing the work fairly so everyone gets credit, finding people and projects worth your time, and sizing your next side project.
