Async Rust & C++ Interop: RustConf Workshop Test Run with Aida Getoeva

We’re excited to welcome back Aida Getoeva to Rust London for a special preview of her upcoming RustConf 2025 workshop: Async Rust & C++ Interop.

This meetup is a live test run of some of her workshop content—a chance to rehearse with an audience and refine both the material and the delivery. Aida will be walking us through core segments of the workshop, focusing on async code patterns and interoperability between Rust and C++.

🚨 Please bring your laptop—we’ll be running some exercises during the session.

💡 You should be familiar with basic Rust syntax, async/await, and have a working understanding of C++ or systems-level concepts.

This event isn’t the full-length workshop, but it will be hands-on, collaborative, and insightful.
