Join us for the Rust Melbourne Meetup on Friday 14th June at the DEPT® office. Come along to witness 2 amazing talks this month!

CRDTs go brrr: Rust makes collaborative editing fast and good.
In this talk Seph will take the audience through 3 years of work on Diamond Types - a fast library for collaborative editing. We'll talk about performance optimisations, data structures and webassembly.

Qubit: Type-safe RPC for Rust APIs.
Tom will be demonstrating a library that he created called Qubit (currently called rstrpc, rename pending): https://github.com/andogq/rstrpc The library allows for type-safe RPC from a Rust server to a TypeScript frontend (similar to trpc, grpc, and an alternative to REST or other HTTP APIs).

As per usual, DEPT® will provide the location, snacks and drinks and ensignia will be sponsoring the pizza🍕
