Hi all,
because last the the fist Rust Mini Unconference in Munich was so popular, we want to do another one this year.

How it works:

Instead of listening to a talk, we'll have a tiny un-conference (or barcamp). Pick a topic, find fellow Rustaceans, and go have a session. Present something, talk about something, hack on something.

Anything goes! If you need inspiration:

  • Rust for beginners
  • how I switched from C++ to Rust
  • what I really like/don't like about Rust
  • using Tokio for network-programming
  • does the borrow-checker make me a happier programmer? :-)
  • embedded Rust
  • WASM

You can bring a notebook to show some code and maybe ask some questions about why the borrow-checker doesn't accept it :-)

Plan:
18:00 begin with food and drinks
18:15 introduction, start of marketplace
18:45 start of sessions
??:00 feedback & wrap-up

Please let as know if you want to present something so we can have a rough idea about the upcoming topics.

Thanks to ESRLabs for hosting this event.
