What's new in the Rust world? What ideas and projects have you been working on? Meet new people (+ some regulars) and discuss :)

This time we might collectively live-code a driver for a cute little magnetometer (compass). We'll focus on the aspects applicable to normal Rust coding practice (i.e. not go into things like electrical characteristics or power consumption). The goal will be to have a nice API which can read magnetometer data from an LIS2MDL STMicro magnetometer.
We can also tackle a simple actuator, the MCP4725 Digital-to-Analog converter.
