Rust: From Pre-1.0 to Side-Project Go-To
Details
Jake "ferris" Taylor has been an active user of Rust from just before Rust hit 1.0 until now. While he hasn't had much opportunity to use Rust professionally, he has use it extensively in several personal projects, from emulators to 3D graphics to hardware validation. In this talk Jake will share many of his experiences building real projects with this wonderful language and community, along with some thoughts/opinions about where we've been, where we are now, and where we're going.
You can see some Jake's projects on https://github.com/yupferris
Fusetools AS will sponsor pizza and beer, and also will be streaming and recording the talk.
