Rust Meetup Prague (May 2024)

We're going to meet again at MFF UK. Last time the S5 room at Malostranské náměstí served the large group of Rust enthusiasts well, so we're going to use it again. Looking forward to seeing you there!

• Experience report from RustNL (Jakub Beránek)

There will be a Rust conference at the start of May in the Netherlands, called RustNL. In this talk, I will try to summarize the most interesting news from the Rust community and projects that I will learn about at RustNL.

• Nelsie - better slides with Rust (Ada Böhm)

Talk about how to have better control over slides and audience focus, and why it can be useful to have the ability to create slides with code. You will learn how to create slides using the Nelsie tool. We will see how its Rust implementation works with SVG images and generates PDF documents, and how can you wrap it all up as a Python package.

The venue is provided by the Department of Distributed and Dependable Systems at the Faculty of Mathematics and Physics at the Charles University of Prague.
