Rust Meetup Prague (July 2024)

Summer doesn't stop us. We're meeting in July again at the university, S5 room at MFF UK, Malostranské náměstí as usual.

Program:

• Exploring Terminal User Interfaces with Ratatui (Lukáš Franěk)
  An in-depth look at Terminal User Interfaces (TUI) with the Ratatui crate, showcasing its capabilities. We will discover how Ratatui enables the creation of rich, modern TUIs and see some of the best tools and applications developed with it.
• Nix + Direnv for reproducible (not only) Rust development environment (Kateřina Churanová)
  Nix is a purely functional programming language and package and configuration manager targeting any Linux distribution and MacOS. It is also able to create ephemeral reproducible development environments with ability to simply build and package all dependencies into a lightweight OCI container. Let's explore some of many tools it provides to make our Rust development and cooperation with other developers easier.
