Rust Vienna Meetup - May - Rust Backend 101

Join our next edition of Rust Vienna Meetup, where we dive into the world of Rust programming.

Rust Backend 101 (Andreas Monitzer)

Rust is a language with a very broad third party creates environment, but unfortunately unlike other languages, there aren't a lot of batteries-included backends available. Over the years, Andreas has accumulated some experience in how to easily create HTTP backends with well-known crates as basic building blocks, leading to a solid Docker container that can be deployed to live servers with logging and everything, while still being easily debuggable locally.
This talk will present the pieces to assemble such a service, so participants can get started with their backend with only a few minutes of preparation every time.

All of this will be presented around the concept of the 12-Factor App methodology.

Unfortunately, our planned speaker can't make it, so maybe you can present something? Could be anything Rust-related from 5 minutes to 30 minutes! Any depth is welcome!
