About us

We love celebrating the little wins and big moments that happen within our community because finding a real connection is something worth toasting to. Whether someone has been on their first date with another member or theyve taken the leap into a committed relationship, we make space to cheer each other on during our events and in our private group chats. It’s not about grand gestures it’s about acknowledging that putting yourself out there takes courage, and when good things happen, we all get to share in that joy.

Safety and respect are at the heart of everything we do. We have a clear code of conduct that all members agree to it’s simple: be kind, be honest, and be respectful of boundaries. Everyone deserves to feel comfortable and valued, so we take any concerns seriously and have organizers on hand at every event to make sure things stay positive and inclusive. Trust is built through consistency, and we’re committed to creating a space where people can open up without worry.

Our events usually run between two and three hours, just enough time to connect meaningfully without feeling rushed or overwhelmed. We plan activities that spark real conversation think cozy trivia nights, scenic hiking meetups, or small group dinners so you’re not stuck in awkward small talk. The pace is relaxed, the vibe is warm, and there’s always room to step back if you need a breather. It’s not about pressure to perform it’s about giving you the time and space to be yourself.

The Rusted Lantern Singles Collective started because we noticed a gap in the dating scene around here. So many events feel superficial or high pressure, and apps can leave you feeling drained and disconnected. We wanted to create something different a place where locals who are serious about building something real could meet without the noise and games. Inspired by the warmth of a lantern glowing in the dark, we built this community to be a steady light for people navigating the sometimes tricky path to love.

If you’re tired of swiping and small talk, and you’re ready to meet people who are actually looking for something meaningful, this is your invitation. No games, no gimmicks just genuine connections over shared experiences. We’re all in this together, trying to find that rare kind of connection that lasts. Come see what it feels like to be part of a group that values depth, kindness, and real conversation. You might just find more than you expected.
