Hikers of all experience levels will find trails right out of camp that lead directly into the Arapaho National Forest and the west side of Rocky Mountain National Park, a quieter and less crowded entrance compared to Estes Park. Wildlife viewing, scenic strolls, or just soaking in the views of Shadow Mountain Lake—there’s something for everyone.
