RVA Classic and Contemporary Book Club

Welcome to the RVA Classic and Contemporary Book Club! Whether you love the classics, prefer more recent works, or are just looking to make new friends, we welcome you! 😊 Our group meets once per month to discuss a book with the goal of alternating between classic and contemporary fiction from month to month. We read a wide-range of novels by a variety of authors, so get ready to expand your reading palate!

Group information and Policies:

• Our group usually meets at Brecotea in Midlothian unless otherwise noted. Be sure to enter the physical address (11544 Busy St) into your GPS, as there are multiple locations.
• NEW: RSVPs will open approximately 30 days prior to the meeting date; this is to (hopefully) reduce no-shows. At this time, events are limited to 14 members.
• If you responded “Yes” to a meeting and something comes up, kindly update your RSVP so that another group member will have the opportunity to attend.
• Beginning in 2026: Since spots are limited, more than 2 no-shows or no-showing a waitlisted event will result in removal from the group.
• Members should maintain a current profile picture of themselves and use their first name. This is for the safety of all group members.
