The Friends of Barker Field and the City of Richmond Department of Parks, Recreation & Community Facililities are working to address erosion in the dog park. We've found a layer of wood chips to be helpful in slowing down storm water in the dog park and need your help to spread a fresh delivery of chips!

We will also be tackling the following:

-fix the wooden well pad
-work on repositioning the concrete blocks around the perimeter and small dog park
-litter pick up
-removing vegetation
-wash bowls (if water is still on)
-filling holes
-installing second latch to bottom of large gate

Tools will be provided.

This event is scheduled for 10-11:30.

Walk up volunteers are welcome, so feel free to bring a friend and spread the word! It is best you leave your dog at home for this event as the gates will be open.
