Cannon Creek Greenway Spring Cleanup

Join the Clean City Commission and Keep Virginia Cozy to conduct a spring cleanup of the Cannon Creek Greenway as part of Keep Virginia Beautiful's Great American Cleanup! The Cannon Creek Greenway runs parallel to the Richmond-Henrico Turnpike from Brookland Park Blvd to Valley Road. The turnpike will be closed to traffic to allow safe cleanup along the road and greenway.

Park at the corner of Dove St and Richmond-Henrico Turnpike at the old Armory site. Litter cleanup supplies will be provided. Please wear boots or sturdy shoes as some of the cleanup will take place within a forested, creek area. Dress for the weather and bring a pair of gloves. The event will be RAIN or SHINE - but hope for SHINE!

This will be a waste-free event. Please bring a reusable water bottle. Water stations will be placed along the turnpike for refills.

All ages are welcome to participate!
