Mayor’s Day of Service: 5th District Senior Bag Build and Delivery
Join Councilmember Stephanie Lynch to celebrate the City of Richmond’s Mayor’s Day of Service on Saturday, September 20. In partnership with the City of Richmond, the 5th District office will build education resource bags for senior residents within the City of Richmond’s 5th District southside neighborhoods. This hands-on volunteer opportunity either building the bags at the Randolph Community Center or delivery bags to seniors in seniors complexes and within neighborhoods.
All materials will be provided, and no prior experience is necessary. Volunteers are asked to wear closed-toed shoes for safety and dress comfortably and for the weather as the delivery portion is an outdoor activity. Space is limited, so sign up today to make a meaningful impact in your community.
