The Design of the Universe, Part 1
Details
What is the “Surprise Principle?” How does it help us make sense of the observations we make about the Universe?
What are the large-scale components and structures of the Universe? What do recent advances in physics and cosmology show us with respect to the design of the universe at all levels, from galactic superclusters to our planet Earth? Especially with respect to staging an environment for physical life in general and human life in particular, do these recent discoveries point to a Designer?
This presentation is based largely, though not exclusively, on the book Designed to the Core by Hugh Ross. Part 1 of this presentation covers approximately the first half of this book.
