OoL - Origin of Life
By "life," I mean a functioning, reproducing cell. By "origin" I mean the first cell. What are the minimal requirements for a living cell? The list would be long, but on that list we would find INFORMATION. A cell needs lots of information and some of that information is encoded in DNA which is translated through a coded message (mRNA) into proteins. The ode itself is conceptual. What does that look like?

This presentation is Part 1 of a two part series. Part 2 will focus on the chemical machinery used to translate the conceptual code.

Come to both.
