This month’s Deep Dive features “The Interview Engine”. A career readiness workshop for cybersecurity professionals led by Vas Khomyk, Senior Recruiter at Hampton North.

Instead of a technical tool or exploit, we’re diving deep into something every security professional eventually has to deal with: the hiring process.

The night will be broken into three parts:

• How cybersecurity recruiting actually works
• What recruiters look for when evaluating resumes and LinkedIn profiles
• How to stay career-ready even when you’re not actively job hunting

We’ll also host a live resume and LinkedIn review panel, where a few volunteers can have their profiles reviewed in real time from a recruiter’s perspective.

Expect practical insights, honest discussion about today’s cyber job market, and a chance to ask a recruiter the questions people usually only ask in private.

Come learn something useful, meet other folks in the community, and hang out with RVAsec!
