ALERT: Due to fluctuating changes to ride details and ride leader turnout, please go to the Hammerin' Wheels calendar for updates: https://www.meetup.com/HammerinWheelsMTBClub/events/calendar/ Hello Gang~ I'll be hosting an all skill level ride for everyone to attend and enjoy. We will break out into groups depending on rider turnout. As always, helmets and water is a must. Please bring out a well tuned bike, spare tube and tools as mechanicals are know to happen. Sorry, NO PETS are allowed to accompany you on this ride. The groups are as follows and of course be sure to thank the assistant ride leaders for stepping up and helping out: Novice group: This is the perfect group for that new rider learning how to ride and new to the local trails. Stops will be frequent and laughs consistent. You will ride for about 90 minutes and cover 6-9 miles. It's an out and back on well know trails with restrooms and water fountains. This ride is great for the younger rider or the timid. No rider is left behind and it's the best fun in the area. Intermediate group: This ride is for the moderately experienced rider with basic skills and average cardio. This is also a great group for those racers who want to recover or build base miles. Stops are semi frequent and there will be several regroups. You'll cover 10-12 miles in 90 minutes. This is the more popular group. Advanced Intermediate group: This ride is more of a technical based ride covering rarely seen obstacles in the park. The pace is more consistent with fewer stops and occasional regroups. Routes change weekly and there is always a new challenge. 12-14 miles in 90 minutes. Meetup is at 10AM, ride briefing begins at 10:15AM and we pedal away at 10:20AM.
