Hacktoberfest comes to Dublin! RyanairLabs, DigitalOcean and DEV are delighted to sponsor this exciting event. To share our passion for Open Source we are hosting a full day workshop on Open Source projects.
The workshop is completely free, Whether you’re a developer or a student learning to code you can help drive growth of Open Source and make positive contributions to an ever-growing community. All backgrounds and skill levels are encouraged to complete the challenge.. Remember to bring your laptop to the event.
No contribution is too small — bug fixes and documentation updates are valid ways of participating.
Hacktoberfest is open to everyone. Food and drinks are sponsored by RyanairLabs

• 09:30 - Welcome, Opening doors and meeting
• 10:00 - Intro to Hacktoberfest
• 10:15 - Intro to open source
• 10:45 - Workshop - How to contribute to open source
• 11:30 - Demos - 3 to 5-minute demos by anyone interested in sharing their open source projects.
• 12:00 - Hack time - Team formation
• 13:00 - Lunch break
• 14:00 - Hack time
• 18:00 - Closing

Rules and prizes
On the day Ryanair is sponsoring free return trips as raffle prizes.
To qualify for the official limited edition Hacktoberfest shirt, you must register on the Hacktoberfest site at https://hacktoberfest.digitalocean.com and make four pull requests between October 1-31.
Pull requests can be to any public repo on GitHub (not just the ones with issues labelled Hacktoberfest)
Connect with other Hacktoberfest participants by using #hacktoberfest and
#hacktoberfestDublin on the social media platform of choice.
