Join us for an memorable evening adventure talk with a S.H.A.C member & Ex-RAF hero, Mountaineering Lead & now Executive Coach, who led a daring British Services Expedition to climb Makalu (8,463m) in 2008 during his military days. More than just a slideshow – it’s a raw, honest story of triumph, leadership, and survival at the edge of human limits ⛰️🤓

A slideshow & talk will guide us through an epic 2-week trek to base camp, through remote Himalayan wilderness:
• The grueling climb: training, team selection, logistics & high-altitude strategy.
• Leadership under pressure: The real challenges of commanding a team at 8,000m+ • Frostbite at 8,200m: the brutal reality of injury and the desperate descent. There will also be an inspiring slideshow with video clips, plus a welcome, warm-up photo montage during arrival drinks
