Creative Workshops in Den Bosch – with Artist & Educator Kaya Heyman
Are you looking to reconnect with your creativity in a more intentional, grounded way? This group is created by Kaya—an artist and educator with academic teaching experience—offering a space where art becomes both a practice and a way to explore yourself.

This space tends to resonate with people who feel natural curiosity for expression and creativity—whether you have experience in art or design, or are simply curious to explore making in a more meaningful, intuitive way. You don’t need to be “advanced,” just open and willing to begin from where you are.

Through this Meetup, I host a mix of creative workshops, courses, and gatherings in ’s-Hertogenbosch. Most events are hands-on workshops at Artrium (such as linocut printing and intuitive drawing), designed with care to offer a focused, quality experience in a beautiful gallery setting.

Alongside this, I occasionally explore more accessible formats—such as lower-cost or informal sessions in my art studio—when time and resources allow, to invite open conversation around art, process, and creativity.

This group is not just about learning techniques—it’s about approaching creativity as a practice. A way to:

  • Slow down and return to the present moment
  • Take small, meaningful steps from wherever you are
  • Move through perfectionism and creative blocks
  • Use drawing and making as a form of reflection and mental clarity
  • Experience art as a tool for inner transformation and connection

If you feel drawn to go deeper, I also offer 1:1 sessions and (soon) guided courses, where we can focus on your personal process and creative development.

Whether you’re experienced or just beginning, you’re very welcome here. If you are a deep thinker and something in this speaks to you, you’ll likely feel at home—I’ll guide you to soften the inner critic, slow down with craft, and use art as a mirror to reflect on what's currently present for you.
