We'll be discussing 'Small Gods' by British author Terry Pratchett, first published in 1992. Also, as a special winter/Christmas edition, we will be doing a book swap following the Yankee swap rules. Important to know for now is that everyone brings one wrapped book (preferably second-hand, something you have at home) as an exchange gift. More about this to follow. If you have any questions, please contact the host.

'Small Gods' as described by the publisher: Religion is a competitive business in the Discworld. Everyone has their own opinion and their own gods, of every shape and size – all fighting for faith, followers, and a place at the top. So when the great god Om accidentally manifests himself as a lowly tortoise, stripped of all divine power, it’s clear he’s become less important than he realized. In such instances, you need an acolyte, and fast. Enter Brutha, the Chosen One – or at least the only One available. He wants peace, justice and love – but that’s hard to achieve in a world where religion means power, and corruption reigns supreme . . .

There's a limited amount of attendants as to keep the conversation manageable. If you're on the waiting list and want to know whether you'll be able to make it in the end, please contact the host directly.
