One of our favorite activities every year is the Stanislaus River Salmon Festival, which is held at the river park in Knights Ferry. We get to staff a table and interact with happy families and adults and help spread the word about Sierra Club environmental issues, including what we as a group do locally. We hope you will enjoy visiting us and the other organizations that have exhibits there (link below).

I have an ask, in addition to the invitation. We find ourselves a little short-handed in staffing our table, in particular the last hour of the Festival (roughly 1:30 - 3:00). If you have ever worked at one of our tabling events (Earth Day, the Pollinator Festival, RecFest) you know the kind of questions we get. If you've never had the opportunity, consider volunteering to help this year. You'll be mentored by one or more Yokuts members and also have literature available that describes our activities.

If you are available and interested, contact Milt Trieweiler at (209) 535-1274 (phone or text) or [magictrain@aol.com.](mailto:magictrain@aol.com.) You'll have fun, meet interesting people, and do a good deed for our Group.
