About us
Welcome to the Southern Oregon Camino Pilgrims!
We are a local chapter of American Pilgrims on the Camino—a community of people who have walked one or more routes of the Camino de Santiago, as well as those who are dreaming of taking their first steps.
Our mission is to support and encourage anyone interested in the Camino. We offer informational sessions to help you prepare, lead training hikes and walks throughout the year, and host social gatherings where aspiring and veteran pilgrims can connect.
If you’ve already completed a Camino, we warmly invite you to join us and share your stories, wisdom, and experience with those preparing for their own journey.

Introduction to the Camino de Santiago

Join Camino veterans from American Pilgrims on the Camino who will share their personal experiences as well as some tips that will help you on your Camino. You'll learn about the basics of the walk, such as lodging, food, gear, and difficulty. Get tips on how to plan and train for the long distance, as well as the best times of the year to go.

Tertulia - A Casual Gathering at Dunbar Farms
Dunbar Farms, 2881 Hillcrest Rd., Medford, OR, USA tertulia is a Spanish tradition—an informal gathering to share conversation and connection. We’d love for you to join us for an afternoon with fellow pilgrims, both past and future, to swap stories, ask questions, and enjoy good company.
Dunbar Farms offers wine and other beverages, along with a limited food menu with salads, soups, panini sandwiches and snacks for anyone who’d like a late lunch. Come to reminisce, to learn, or simply to enjoy a relaxed afternoon together in a beautiful setting.
