Jacksonville Woodlands Hike

Please note: The Jacksonville Christmas Parade will be starting at 10:00, so parking may be difficult. Please allow yourself plenty of time to reach the trail in case you need to park some distance away. We will wait for stragglers (within reason) text or call Terri at 541-821-7178 if you are running extra late.

Shirley will guide us on a hike through the Jacksonville Woodlands. We’ll start on the Britt Ridge Trail, then wander along the Jane Naversen, Petard Ditch, Panorama, and Britt Canyon trails before looping back to the parking lot. Highlights include Panorama Point and several historic gold-mining sites. This moderate 4–5 mile hike features a good amount of elevation gain, mostly at the beginning.

Dress warmly and bring rain gear, and don't forget to bring water!

We will meet at the Britt Woods Trails parking lot off of Fir St.
