Our training walks are meant to give you a feel for the average daily distance on the Camino — with a few options built in, just like the real thing!

We’ll start by heading north about 2.7 almost to the ball fields, where we will turn around and walk south to Clyde’s Corner for lunch. This round trip is about 5.4 miles.

From there, you can decide how far you’d like to go:

  • Option 1: Continue south to Lynn Newbry Park in Talent (just under 3 miles past Clyde’s). Turning around here makes for an 11.2-mile round trip.
  • Option 2: For the hardy walkers, keep going to the “Wrangler’s Arena” area just before Ashland. That’s a 15-mile round trip.

🚻 Restrooms are available at Blue Heron Park, Clydes, and Lynn Newbry Park in Talent

Reminder: Bring water and your Camino spirit.
