Outskirts of Jacksonville hike
Details
This out and back hike is approximately 4.5 miles with an elevation gain of 500 ft. It will be a moderately challenging hike with some steep up and down sections. The trail will be a combination of asphalt and dirt as we wind around the hills, including sections of the Britt trails. The trail may be slippery in places this time of year, so hiking poles are recommended. Be sure to bring water and rain gear.
There are several restrooms available during the first half of the walk.
Optional lunch at Black Barn Kitchen after the hike
Sorry, but due to liability issues our four-legged friends ๐ are not allowed at Chapter events.
