Our training walks are meant to give you a feel for the average daily distance on the Camino — with a few options built in, just like the real thing!

We’ll start by heading north to Lynn Newbry Park, then into Talent to Legend Cider Co., for lunch for a total of about 2.3 miles one way. Legend Cider Co. has a variety of food trucks to choose from. After lunch we will return to Wrangler’s Arena (4.6 mile round trip).

From there, those who want to walk farther can walk to the Ashland Dog Park, which adds another 5.6 miles for the round trip.
Total of both sections is 10.2 miles.

🚻Restrooms are available at Lynn Newbry Park, Legend Cider, and the Dog Park
Reminder: Bring water and your Camino spirit.

🦮Due to insurance concerns, only humans are permitted at chapter events, including hikes and walks

Our new meeting place is just north of Ashland on Hwy 99 - Look for the yellow arrows.

I think that it's easiest to take the first Ashland exit off of I-5 at Valley View rather than the Talent exit. Head west on Valley View, then turn right (north) on Hwy 99. The turn off is approximately 0.6 mile.
