High Lakes Trail Hike - Fish Lake to Lake of the Woods

This will be a one-way hike, so we will plan to have enough shuttle cars at Lake of the Woods to transport all hikers back to Fish Lake after lunch.
This 8-9-mile moderate hike is through forest and over lava fields with views of Mt McLoughlin. It will take approximately 4 hours to complete, not including lunch.
Pack plenty of water, hiking poles and snacks.
After arriving at Lake of the Woods, we will have lunch together (you may choose to bring a picnic lunch or order from the restaurant menu). Mosquito repellent may be necessary too.
The Lake of the Woods forecast is cooler for Saturday, so dress appropriately and bring rain gear.
There is also the option to complete a portion of the trail and return to your vehicle at Fish Lake.
