Meetup Moved to ONLINE : Building the CoronaCheck app with PostgreSQL

Details
Dear all,
Due to the developments in the Corona restrictions, we have decided to move the Meetup to an ONLINE event.
It has been a long time so we are excited to finally be able to invite you all to a new "PostgreSQL User Group NL" meetup on December 1st 2021!
Starting at 17.00 hrs, Ivo Jansch and Rob Sijmons will take the stage for a live presentation in which they will share their story on a their project: Building the ‘CoronaCheck app’.
Starting in December 2020, the “Ministerie of Volksgezondheid, Welzijn en Sport (VWS) commissioned a team of IT professionals to build, under enormous time pressure, an all ‘open source based’ application using the PostgreSQL DBMS for the registration of the vaccine status of all Dutch Citizens.
Ivo and Rob have been part of this team from the start of the project. Ivo will take us through the development of the app. The app needed to be able to deal with high workloads and (due to it’s expected controversial nature) be build with the highest standards of transparency and security in order to withstand public scrutiny. Rob will take us into the challenges of building the decentral PosgreSQL database environment supporting the app. https://github.com/minvws
After their talk there will be plenty of time to meet and have a drink.
Look forward meeting you online!
