McAllister Perimeter Loop - 9.0 Miles

We plan to hike the 9.0-mile loop trail near San Antonio, Texas. Generally considered a moderately challenging route, it takes an average of 2 h 50 min but up to 3 h 30 min to complete depending on how many stops we take.
I believe it is paved in some parts and trails on other parts so you will not need hiking boots for this hike.
Please plan on meeting at the parking lot near Turkey Roost Pavilion. If you come in off Jones Maltsberger you will be on Turkey Roost then follow it around to the parking area near the Pavilion. If parking is full please park in the other parking area and walk back to Turkey Roost. We will meet here and plan on starting the hike at 8:00 AM. Give yourself extra time as last time the parking lot was full and some of us had to park at the overflow parking and walk to the Turkey Roost Pavilion. Please keep this in mind when coming as we want to start on time.
Please make sure you bring plenty of water and bring a snack if needed.
