May SAAFE Space Happy Hour Event
In recognition of Mental Health Awareness Month this May, SAAFE is thrilled to present Black Girls Love Yoga Too: Mental Health Discussion and Yoga Class!
Join us on Thursday, May 30th from 7:00 - 8:00 PM EST for a special virtual event designed to empower Black women through self-care and mindful movement.
Our guest speaker, Latonyia Sumpter, founder of Empowered WellBeing, is a powerful force for good. A 300-hour certified yoga instructor and Women's Empowerment Coach, Latonyia has channeled her own experiences of overcoming childhood trauma into a mission to uplift women.
This exclusive SAAFE event offers:
- Open Discussion: Host Dr. Kristy Taylor and Latonyia will lead a conversation on mental health challenges faced by Black women and offer strategies for self-care and resilience.
- Empowering Yoga Class: Latonyia will guide you through a gentle, all-levels yoga practice designed to promote relaxation, inner peace, and mindful connection.
This is your chance to:
- Prioritize your well-being
- Connect with your SAAFE Space sisters
- Learn powerful tools for managing stress and boosting mental clarity
- Discover the transformative power of yoga (no experience necessary!)
Don't miss out! Sign up today and invest in your mental and physical well-being!
