# Featured Conversation
For this edition of the SaaS & Tech Growth Meetup, hosts Michael Bertoni and Liam Fitzgerald will lead a live conversation about the reality of building and scaling SaaS companies today and how different generations of builders approach growth.
Many startups today are exceptional at building products, but often struggle to translate that innovation into real revenue and sustainable growth.
At the same time, experienced revenue leaders bring proven sales and go-to-market discipline that many early-stage companies lack. However, the focal point becomes selling and not building a great user experience.
Drawing from their experience in enterprise sales, startup building and working with SaaS companies at every stage, Mike and Liam will explore how these different perspectives can work together to build stronger, more scalable companies.
Topics will include:
• How different generations of SaaS builders approach product, sales, and growth
• Why great products alone rarely create traction
• The biggest go-to-market mistakes founders make
• How product thinking and sales leadership can work together to drive real growth
• What traction actually looks like in today’s SaaS market
This will be an open conversation followed by audience Q&A and networking with founders, operators, and leaders from the Philadelphia tech ecosystem.
