If you've been thinking about taking better care of yourself, reducing stress, or simply creating a healthier routine, I'd love to invite you to join my free online Yoga: Mat class through Santa Ana College School of Continuing Education.

As both a health educator and kinesiology professor, I believe movement is about much more than flexibility. In class, we explore ways to improve strength, balance, mobility, stress management, and healthy lifestyle habits that support long-term well-being. Along the way, I also share practical, evidence-based health education to help you make informed choices for everyday life.

Our focus across this course is on developing proprioception and mobility/flexibility using a chair as a tool. It is not all sitting, but many exercises can be done with the help of just a chair, allowing us to go deeper with more support on the body to better understand our physical strengths and limitations.

This is a FREE series of classes available 24/7 for 16 weeks online. This is an asynchronous course, taken ANY TIME of the day that works for you, designed for learning at your own pace, but with a weekly pacing guide to encourage you to stay engaged.

Taught by Instructor Fleur Fong, Assistant Professor, Santa Ana College NASM-CPT; certified yoga instructor, with a BS and MS in Kinesiology. Fleur has taught yoga online to hundreds of Californians with students all over the world since 2004, specializing in the working with the mid-life and older adult.

Must register with SAC-Active with Santa Ana College. FREE to any California resident.
