SACA Golden Dragons MeetUp

Experience the thrill of dragon boat paddling in the stunning waters of Tampa Bay! Join our team for an invigorating workout and a fantastic community experience. Whether you're a seasoned paddler or completely new to the sport, you're welcome to hop in a boat and learn the synchronized strokes. We offer a fun and supportive environment for everyone to enjoy the beauty of Tampa Bay from a unique perspective. Come paddle with us and discover the excitement of dragon boating!

Dragon Boating Intro:

• Health: Please do not attend if sick, watch for heat illness (hydrate, light clothes, take breaks if needed). Waiver required.
• Activity: Team paddling (10-20 per boat), steered by a steersperson. Great core/cardio workout.
• Newcomers Welcome: No experience needed, training provided.
• Bring: Water, sunscreen, hat, clothes/shoes that can get wet, an open mind and positive attitude.
• Practice: Veteran members assist new paddlers.
• When: Every other Saturday (may vary).
• Where: Tampa River Center Boathouse, near Laurel Street Bridge (meet by the blue tables by docks).
