Manga book club - Moved to July 21st. Reading: Delicious in Dungeon

“Delicious in Dungeon (Dungeon Meshi) is a Japanese fantasy-comedy manga series written and illustrated by Ryoko Kui. Serialized from February 2014 to September 2023, with its chapters collected in 14 tankōbon volumes.

The story follows a party of adventurers in a fantasy world who venture back into a dangerous dungeon after a dragon attack leaves them broke, hungry, and one party member short. They survive by cooking and eating the monsters they encounter while racing to rescue their lost companion.”

Genre: Fantasy, adventure, comedy, and cooking.

We have 6 weeks before the next group, so aiming for 6 to 8 volumes. We can do a mid-month check in to see where everyone is at. We have reservations for our meet up at Drake’s Barn, so we’ll have a table to hang out under the shade and misters to discuss.

All are welcome even if you haven’t read it(it’s an anime too!). Hoping to make a fun group night to meet every month and check out different breweries around Sacramento.
