Welcome to the very first Sac Acoustic Music meetup!
Join us at McKinley Park for an afternoon of music and community. Whether you're someone who enjoys listening to live acoustic music, a beginner learning to play, or a seasoned performer, you're invited to bring an acoustic instrument and join in. We'll keep things relaxed and informal, taking turns sharing songs, jamming, and getting to know eachother.
Spectators are always welcome, and attendance for all is free.

Look for the group on the south side of the park along H street, in the shade of the trees. You are joining a new and growing acoustic music community in Sacramento!

Rules and Guidelines:

  • Parking can usually be found on the streets bordering the park.
  • If you have extra instruments that you are ok with sharing, we invite you to bring them.
  • Attendees are invited to bring chairs, blankets etc to be more comfortable.
  • Friendly pets and children are welcome to attend; we ask that they are closely supervised.
  • Please respect everyone's privacy by asking permission to film, record or photograph other attendees.
  • There will not be a power source nearby, all instruments must operate without power.
