Celebratory Beginnings: A Cocktail Party

ATTENTION: You’re probably not gonna wanna miss this one, cuz I just secured an incredible house DJ who has played at the Ministry of Sound in London and happens to be the guy on the cover of Groove the movie, Dmitri from Slope114!

Life is short, and it’s damn hard to meet new people these days, so let’s have an innaugural party and find our new best buds in the process!

This will be a private party, so you’ll not have to worry about trying to find out who is from our group.

We’ll just need to ensure that we have enough to cover the cost of the bottles and venue fee.

There will be a voluntary, one time member fee of $25, which in no way shape or form has anything to do with any of the alcohol and is only to cover the venu and decorations.

I’m not trying to turn this into a thinly concealed business opportunity, so any money generated above the cost of setting it up will go towards
Meetup group funds for future events.

Unfortunately there will be a head count max of 38 people who can attend. This is a limitation of the venue. However, I dont anticipate every single member of the group wanting to attend, so I think we’ll be fine.

IMPORTANT NOTE: For some reason I’m unable to allow RSVP to become available untill one week prior to the event. However, it will be helpful to know your thoughts regarding this event, so please drop a comment if you plan to attend… or if you think this event is horrible and shouldn’t be happening.

Just in case any of you are wondering how we’re putting this on, I happen to own a bartending/catering business, and I’ve decided to provide my services for all of you beautiful millennials at no cost (normally roughly $700).

One last thing… please forgive me if there end up being some necessary changes to plans. It’s still a little early in the planning stages right now and I needed to get this event created and out to you all, to determine how many of you are interested.
