Looks like we have enough people that are interested in this workshop so I have set that date as November 8th at 1:00.

I am an avid user of Adobe’s Lightroom software since version 1. I find that for the portrait, travel, and landscape work that I do I can use it for over 95% of the images that I process.

I use Lightroom 5 though 90% of the class is applicable to Lightroom 4

One of the key things to being efficient is a good consistent workflow and that is what I will be presenting during this workshop.
I have a 45+ step work flow that I have developed and refined from my days of shooting youth sports and now shooting portraiture and portfolio work. I go through this same process each time when I process my images and I think you could benefit from it as well.
During this workshop I will start with images from a recent shoot all the way through to having them ready to send to print or upload for a client. I will provide a handout that goes through each step as well. You can either follow along taking with the notes or using your laptop and the software, or both. I will be going through the steps live with the images captured from a previous shoot. I will show you how I take a typical photo session and produce the 6-9 final images for the client using Lightroom 5. If you have Lightroom 5 or have been thinking about it this is a great class to learn more about it.

This workshop will help you streamline your workflow and provide you an easy to follow process to turn a photo session into final images. This will shorten the time you spend retouching your images and get you back to shooting even more.

Topics covered:

Workspace modules and setup

Importing photos

Organizing, culling and ranking photos

I will provide a printed handout for each person with all of the steps of my workflow documented
