Day Hike (3B) . Alamere Falls, Point Reyes National Seashore.

We’ll hike above the shoreline from Palomarin trailhead to Wildcat Camp and along the shore to Alamere Falls. Along the way, we’ll pass lush areas, small lakes and see great views of the coast. Hike is about 11 miles with 1000 feet of elevation gain. Some rock scrambling up 30' slope. -- required to get from beach to top of bluff. and subsequent close proximity to poison oak, Recommend long sleeves and pants. Limit to 20. Rain not cancel. 2.5 hour drive, one way. Sierra Club recommends reimbursing driver $4/hour driven. Leader: Rich Juricich. Trainee: Peter Hewitt
