Day Hike (2C): Hood Mtn. Regional Park

Details
After a drive through scenic Sonoma Valley, we'll climb to Gunsight Rock along well-maintained trails, with panoramic views, and surprising late-spring wildflowers. A bit of a challenge at 7 miles in length, and the continuous 2000-ft elevation gain can be tiring. The trail is well-maintained; conditions vary from wide, shady, and smooth to exposed, rough, steep, and rocky. Bring lunch and liquids. Some trails mostly exposed; sunscreen is advised. No dogs (park rule). Rain cancels. Leader keeps a slow pace with frequent stops. Gear list and other information will be provided after approval.
Each participant must carry a completed confidential Sierra Club Medical Form. You'll find it at https://tinyurl.com/2p8dtefp Each participant will be required to sign the Sierra Club Sign-In & Waiver Form at the Trailhead.
