  • Quick closing

### Group Vibe & Expectations

1. Come as you are
No pressure to be “on.” You can talk, be quiet, multitask, or just exist while crafting.
2. This is not a therapy group
We’re all social workers, but this space is for connection and decompressing—not clinical processing or problem-solving.
3. Low effort is enough
No prep needed. Bring any craft (or none). Showing up is the goal.
4. Sharing is always optional
You never have to speak, turn your camera on, or share your work.
5. Keep it supportive, not heavy
Light venting is okay, but we try to avoid going deep into heavy topics so the space stays restorative.
6. Connection > networking
You’re welcome to connect and build relationships, but no pressure to “pitch,” impress, or exchange credentials.
7. Respect confidentiality
What’s shared here stays here—especially when it comes to work experiences.
8. No judgment, no comparisons
Your craft can be messy, unfinished, or nonexistent. That’s the point.
9. Consistency over perfection
Come when you can. No guilt for missing weeks.
10. Keep the vibe calm
If there’s background noise, just mute when you’re not talking so we can keep the space relaxed. No stress—just helping each other out.

***

This is also a space to naturally meet other Sacramento social workers and build community over time.

It costs about 28 a month to maintain this group after the initial month. Donations to keep this space ongoing and help pay for this fee are appreciated.
