Knitting 101: Learn to Knit (Pocket/Greenhaven)

This event is for anyone who would like to learn how to knit.
We will review the basics of casting on, knitting a stitch, and binding off (and more as time allows!).

Materials will be provided, or bring your own:

• Suggested yarn weight: worsted/aran/medium
• Suggested yarn style: plain, "no frills" yarn in a light or medium color (avoid unique textures and dark colors for now)
• Suggested needle size: 8 (5.0mm)

This event is for right-handed knitters.

• The way one knits is different for right-handed people and left-handed people. Unfortunately, as a righty, I don't know how to teach lefties!
